Last night, I had a huge DUH moment. Our desk has been somewhat of an issue with me. I'm the one who uses it the most, but it just hasn't been used to its fullest potential. We had shelves full of things we hadn't used in over a year, and then we had a seperate wooden rolling shelf thing that we used for the fax machine and things we DID actually use.

In short - we had a bunch of useless stuff filling up our desk, and a bunch of useful stuff cluttered into a tiny little rolling shelf. That incidentally, Reagan was attracted to like a moth is to a light, and she loves pulling everything off of it. It has no doors, so yeah.

Anyway, last night, I had a great idea on how to rearrange all the stuff in the desk. IT LOOKS FANTASTIC. We got rid of the rolling thing and put all the stuff we actually use IN our desk (I know, duh, right?). We put the fax machine on top of the desk. I dusted. I put some (fake) flowers on top, along with a photo and scented candle. I put some business books on one of the open shelves, and labelled some of the plastic black ones so I can actually use them properly.

All this is probably making no sense, but now I have tons of space to work with, and an actually USEFUL desk. I feel like a new woman!

John also buzzed his head last night, and we even shaved it to the skin. Amazing. Cheaper than going to get a haircut, though! It was way more fun that I expected, buzzing all that hair off. It'll grow back.

I'll have pics of John and the desk later, but for now you get my beautiful daughter (a better deal than the desk anyway, right?)!
