what's the point...?

I vacuumed and straightened up the living room earlier. About, oh, 10 minutes later it was TRASHED. Clothes thrown everywhere, toys covering the floor. I give up. ;)

I put The Little Mermaid in to entertain Reagan so I could take care of some crucial work. That lasted a little longer than I expected. I don't plan on letting the TV baby sit her, but it's helpful once a month or so. Seriously, we have no cable and during the day we might as well not even have a TV. I never turn it on, except to watch movies with John once a week or so.

I love The Little Mermaid so much. Probably more than is healthy, really. I sing the song daily to Reagan. It's weird, I know. I don't know what it is. Maybe because she's a redhead? I always like the redheaded princesses the best (Anastasia is another one I loved). I also remember that line, "I'm 16 years old! I'm not a child!" so clearly. I remember watching that when I was about 10 years old and thinking that when I was 16, that's when I wouldn't be a child anymore either. Sadly, that's not exactly how it works.

I'm 21 years old and most days I just feel like I'm just playing an extended game of house, and at some point my mom is going to call me to come home because it's dark, and it's time for dinner.
